Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and finalize Annual Internal Audit Plan.
  • Track and monitor the achievement of the plan.
  • Delegate, allocate and assign resources to carry out all audit activities.
  • Advise, supervise and oversee the audit activities carried out by the internal auditors.
  • Ensure that the audit engagements are conducted according to the Internal Audit manual.
  • Initiate special/investigation audit as per the requirements of senior management.
  • Supervise the annual inventory count at the Country, Area and Branch offices.
  • Communicate effectively with the Internal Audit team at the Head Office.
  • Provide training to audit officials on Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management.
  • Perform regulatory and donor compliance.

Person Specifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with article ship completed from any of Big Four Chartered Accountancy Firm.
  • At least four years working experience in the relevant field with minumum three years in managerial positions in renowned organisations.
  • Vast knowledge of Risk based Internal Audit, Compliance and Risk Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent report writing ability.
  • Ability to work with the ERP Environment.
  • Strong knowledge of companies Act 2017,NBFC rules and regulations and income tax ordinance.

BRAC is currently serving about 437,465 people in 14 districts of four provinces. BRAC's micro finance program was launched in 2007 on a small scale in Punjab and the North West Frontier Province (NWFP). It is now operating with 88 branch offices, and has 45,011 women borrowers. BRAC considers education a powerful tool for combating discrimination's, illiteracy and poverty. BRAC started 20 pre-primary schools in 2009 in NWFP's Haripur district. The schools now have more than 600 students, about 61% of them girls. BRAC also initiated a health program in 2009, with services in Punjab's Sahiwal and Pakpattan districts and NWFP's Nowshera district.
