We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to take the helm of our infrastructure and grow it to handle the needs of our product, which helps in improving our customer experience. DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with AWS, Ruby or Python, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will be responsible for scaling and securing server and network infrastructure or our services, on the various cloud infrastructures for our suite of products.
Job Responsibility:
- Implement integrations requested by the engineering team
- Deploy updates and fixes
- Provide Level 2 technical support
- Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
- Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
- Document DevOps processes: develop standards to guide operations, support and maintenance
- Maintain, troubleshoot and administer VMs and networks for our hosted infrastructure
- Perform root cause analysis for production errors
- Knowledge of the AWS stack
- Investigate and resolve technical issues
- Develop scripts to automate visualization
- Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
Candidacy Requirements:
- Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Monitoring security issues in an AWS environment
- AWS management, especially configuring VPCs, and using IAM
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Scaling services and network infrastructure in a cloud or data center environment
- How to monitor service performance, and automate scaling up or down
- Problem-solving attitude
- Team spirit
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
