Main responsibility is to implement effective strategies (lesson plans) to develop self-responsible/independent learners. To promote students’ intrinsic motivation by providing meaningful and progressively challenging learning experiences.

By educating children under a prescribed curriculum to develop students’ literacy and numeracy skills and foster social, physical and emotional growth. By encouraging the intellectual and emotional growth of children including reasoning and problem-solving skills, creativity and self-expression. To evaluate students’ performances in an objective, fair and timely manner.

Honesty, fairness and ethical conduct. Caring attitude and promote positive inter-personal relationships. Correct use of language, oral and written. Ability to foster student self-control, self-discipline and responsibility to others. Good social skills, leadership and civic responsibility. Ability to plan and prepare appropriately the assigned courses and lectures.

To use a variety of effective techniques and technologies to engage students with the learning process. Implementing daily and long-term lesson plans according to curriculum guidelines. To engage students in creative thinking and integrated or interdisciplinary learning experiences. To assign reasonable assignments and homework to students as per The Bridges’ rules.

By applying appropriate multiple assessment tools and strategies to evaluate and promote the continuous intellectual development of the students. By using student assessment data to guide changes in instruction and practice, and to improve student learning. By providing and accepting evaluative feedback in a professional manner.

Teachers work collaboratively with leadership, specialist and support staff including the school Principal, Associate Faculty, Special Education Teachers, Guidance Officers, School coordinators, and Teacher Librarians. Teachers attend and participate in faculty meetings and other assigned meetings and activities according to school policy.
