Job Description

  • Preparing Scheme of works, assignment briefs, lesson plans and checking learners’ work against designed assignment briefs.
  • Reviewing the reports arising from quality assurance and ensure that appropriate actions are taken.
  • Liaising with assessors to ensure timely assessments and feedback sessions.
  • Arranging staff meetings and maintaining records of meeting.
  • Coordinating and communicating with Quality Manager, Internal Verifier, Centre Head & Head of Learner Support Services regarding assessment moderation, internal and external verification learners’ admission & recruitment and quality issues.
  • Maintaining and updating students record.
  • Managing recruitment, registration and certification of new learners.
  • Provide administrative and academic support to the faculty members of BETS Business School.
  • Facilitate office/departmental communication and coordination by Performing activities relating to communication and coordination (within the department and externally), including typing various documents, such as emails, announcements, minutes, reports, etc.
  • Providing relevant information to and interact with the students.
  • Attending to and following up on student queries/complaints/requests
  • Coordinating with BETS marketing officer for business school marketing and promotional activities and events.
  • Conducting one to one meetings with every assessor regarding assessment designing, delivery of unit, assessments checking, assignment reviews, class timing and learners issues.
  • Taking classes regularly following the given schedule.
  • Managing class schedules, learner’s individual sessions with assessors.
  • Arranging guest lectures, business workshops and industrial trips for the learners.
  • Verification of authenticity and sufficiency of assessment evidence provided against assessment criteria.
  • Observing, scrutinising and recording evidences of individual learner’s work.
  • Note: Might be asked to stay late depending upon workload. Flexibilty and commitment is a must.
