Key Responsibilities
Executing an On-Ground Payments Ecosystem: Lead the creation and expansion of a comprehensive payments network centered on JazzCash mobile wallets. This includes establishing a wide presence of payment acceptance points and facilitating smooth merchant-to-distributor (M2D) transactions.
Strategic Business Expansion: Develop and implement strategies aimed at growing business operations by identifying untapped market segments and new growth opportunities.
Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market research to identify gaps, challenges, and areas for improvement. Propose actionable solutions to enhance overall business effectiveness.
Sales Team Leadership & Target Achievement: Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales targets, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
Strategic Planning & Objective Setting: Formulate clear strategic plans and establish measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide the sales team’s focused execution.
Relationship Management & Partnerships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and clients to support business growth and foster collaborative ventures.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports and insights to senior management to inform decision-making.
Training & Development Initiatives: Design and implement training programs aimed at enhancing the sales team’s skills and readiness to meet business goals.
Operational Efficiency & Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies while maintaining high levels of efficiency.
Required Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required, with a Master’s degree preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in business development, strategic planning, or sales management, ideally within FMCG, telecommunications, or similar sectors. Proven expertise in team leadership, distribution management, and stakeholder engagement is essential.
