Business Development Manager Sales (Imports)

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in imports and freight forwarding, particularly in import operations. The ideal candidate will have an active and reliable client base, a proven ability to consistently generate import business, and excellent skills in lead generation to support company growth. This role demands a proactive professional who can effectively leverage existing relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities to achieve and surpass revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and grow a strong portfolio of import clients within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.
- Secure immediate business from existing clients and consistently meet monthly revenue targets.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new leads to drive significant import business growth.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
- Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and follow-ups to ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth handling of import shipments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on import operations.
- Established and active clientele within the import freight forwarding sector.
- Demonstrated success in consistently generating import business and achieving revenue goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
