The New Business Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping financial decisions by managing spending activities, producing insightful reports, and developing strategies to ensure financial discipline across multiple budgets. Key Responsibilities
- Lead variance analysis against budgets and conduct detailed budgeting exercises across various markets, ensuring accurate monthly accruals for all operational regions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization initiatives, actively participating in strategic financial planning.
- Develop and enforce controls to manage expenditures within allocated budgets across different markets.
- Design and maintain financial systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over spending, supporting informed decision-making by stakeholders.
- Identify and communicate any discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial systems and processes, adapting to changing business requirements.
- Work closely with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Up to 6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to data collection and analysis for impactful decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly and persuasively conveying complex financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
