The New Business Finance Manager role offers a unique opportunity to influence financial decisions by managing spending activities, generating insightful reports, and developing strategies to maintain financial discipline across multiple budget areas, thereby playing a vital role in the company’s financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead variance analysis against budgets and conduct thorough budgeting exercises across markets, ensuring accurate monthly accruals for all operational regions.
- Serve as the primary contact for cost optimization initiatives and actively contribute to strategic financial planning.
- Develop and implement expenditure control initiatives aligned with allocated budgets for various markets.
- Design and maintain financial systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over spending, supporting stakeholders in decision-making.
- Identify and communicate discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine and improve financial systems and processes in response to evolving business needs.
- Partner with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring accurate and reliable financial reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Up to 6 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to data gathering and insight generation for impactful decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly and persuasively conveying complex financial information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a solid foundation in financial principles.
