The New Business Finance Manager role offers a strategic opportunity to influence financial decisions by managing spend activities, generating insightful reports, and developing strategies that uphold financial discipline across multiple budgets. This role is vital for maintaining the company’s financial health and supporting its growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
Lead variance analysis against budgets and oversee comprehensive budgeting exercises across various markets, ensuring accurate monthly accruals for all operational regions. Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization initiatives and actively contribute to strategic financial planning. Develop and implement expenditure control measures aligned with allocated budgets for different markets. Design and maintain financial systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over spending, enabling informed decision-making for stakeholders. Identify and communicate any discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Collaborate closely with internal teams to refine financial systems and processes, adapting them to meet evolving business needs. Partner with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
Up to six years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning is essential. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, with knowledge of SQL considered an advantage. Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrating a proactive approach to data gathering and insight generation that drives impactful decision-making. The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment is critical, along with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to clearly and persuasively convey complex financial information. A bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a solid foundation in financial principles, is required.
