The Business Finance Manager role is a pivotal position that influences financial decision-making by overseeing spend activities, producing insightful reports, and driving strategies to maintain financial discipline across diverse budgets. Key Responsibilities
Lead variance analysis against budgets and manage detailed budgeting exercises across multiple markets, ensuring accurate monthly accruals for all operational regions. Serve as the primary point of contact for cost optimization efforts, actively contributing to strategic financial planning initiatives. Develop and enforce expenditure control measures aligned with budget allocations for different markets. Design and maintain financial systems and dashboards to enhance visibility and control over spending, enabling informed decision-making for stakeholders. Identify and report any discrepancies or anomalies in spend tracking to Business Leaders and the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. Collaborate closely with internal teams to refine and improve financial systems and processes to meet evolving business needs. Partner with data teams to resolve data integrity issues, ensuring accuracy and reliability in financial reporting.
Required Qualifications
Up to six years of relevant experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning. Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential, while knowledge of SQL is considered an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to data gathering and insight generation to support impactful decision-making. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a hands-on, ownership-driven mindset. Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly and persuasively conveying complex financial information. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, with a solid understanding of financial principles.
