BusinessOxide is seeking a skilled DevOps professional with at least five years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery processes. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about automating infrastructure and streamlining operations to support development teams. The candidate will play a vital role in enhancing our deployment pipeline, monitoring systems, and maintaining application performance. As this position does not involve managing a team, the focus will be on individual contribution and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines to automate software release processes.
- Collaborate closely with development, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure smooth and reliable application deployments.
- Monitor production systems to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, availability issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Manage configuration and infrastructure as code to enhance scalability and maintainability of systems.
- Automate routine operational tasks to reduce manual intervention and improve system reliability.
- Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery testing, and environment provisioning.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to improve deployment efficiency and system monitoring.
- Document deployment processes, configuration standards, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
