Job Description – Front End Angular 7 Developer

The Front End Angular 7- Developer role is a key contributor within our product development team having vast Angular 7 experience. 

Notes: 

1-   Candidates with only intermediate to expert level skills and expertise in Angular 7 will be considered for this position. 

2-   Candidates having prior experience of designing/developing online bidding/auctioning/payment gateways applications/systems will be given preference.

Skills And Qualifications

·       Commercial, hands-on experience as a Frontend Developer with a focus on Angular 7

·       Proficiency in ES6, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Node.js and either Angular 7 or higher 

·       hands on experience with TDD, specifically Jasmine framework

·       experience with source code management workflows across multiple teams with Git

·       experience working in fast paced agile delivery environment and manage work via JIRA or a similar tracking tool

·       ability to design and implement unit test cases, integration test cases and performance test cases for APIs and UI components

·       practical experience with functional programming concepts will be advantageous

·      relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Systems and/or Technology.

·       Experience in any of the following technologies (or similar) would be desirable but is not required:

  • Java , spring boot 
  • Amazon Web Services
  • Geoserver; Web Services; Spatial Web Mapping
  • GUI and UX design and development
  • Modern software development practices

Responsibilities

·       Able to Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability

·       Ability to create responsive and adaptive solutions that render and perform well on all devices used to deliver our products

·       A good knowledge of the mobile industry and the ability to develop the company’s products using the latest device capabilities and trends

·       Implement and maintain efficient, scalable and robust code to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s websites/app

·       Able to troubleshoot and debug issues relating to the code

·       Able to implement long-term fixes to bugs

·       Sound knowledge of industry best practices and how to implement them

·       Able to work as part of a team to achieve the company’s goals

·       Able to provide and achieve realistic timeframes and take responsibility for deliverables

·       Able to absorb changes in scope or design, even when they are very late in the project
