1.       To manage overall sales and operations of all bakery outlets of the company in an efficient and effective manner;

2.       To establish, monitor, update and implement Standard Operating Processes (SOPs) of sales and operations;

3.       To be responsible for efficient sales staff management, OJT of newly hired staff, and writing their performance evaluation reports as and when required;

4.       To meet assigned sales targets, with a special focus on sales growth;

5.       To constantly monitor market trends and  competitor’s strategies with a view to get competitive advantage;

6.       To suggest, propose or advise top management on diversifying products, locations for establishing new outlets and avenues of sales growth by presenting analytical reports on market trends and competitor’s strategies from time to time;

7.       To establish, monitor and effectively utilize customer profiling data to enhance sales growth, retain customers and maximize customer satisfaction;

8.       To establish customer feedback process, monitor it constantly and take corrective and preventive measures with a focus on maximizing customer satisfaction;

9.       To establish process for shift duty roster and monitor it on day to day basis;

10.   To present weekly progress report on item-wise sales of bakery outlets, making comparisons with past, and forecasting sales for next week; and also present variance analysis for intelligent decision making at top management level;

11.   To establish process for ordering of bakery and miscellaneous products, ensuring Just-In-Time (JIT) orders to minimize returns and wastage;

12.   To be responsible for petty cash kept for miscellaneous official use;

13.   To grant and authorize all kinds of leaves of staff working at bakery outlets of the company;

14.   To write annual performance reports on the prescribed format, probation period reports, and recommend increment/salary raise as per the prescribed process;

15.   To explore avenues for institutional sales by scheduling visits to nearby institutions, offices, hospitals, hotels and event managers and present a report on the results of such visits to the Managing Director and CEO;

16.   To conduct routine and surprise checks of all bakery outlets (at least one visit/each bakery outlet/week) per week to monitor their performance and ensure implementation of prescribed SOPs of sales and operations;

17.   To send weekly report on manpower strength to CEO, Managing Director and HRD in the prescribed format;

18.   To apprise HRD on training needs of sales and operations staff from time to time;

19.   To rotate sales staff including ZSMs, ASMs and BMs as and when required in coordination with HRD and in consultation with CEO/MD;

20.   To be responsible for overall cash reconciliation with actual sales, ordering system (over and under ordering), wastage percentage;

21.   To do any other task assigned by CEO and/or Managing Director.
