We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will bridge the gap between graphical and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new user-facing features.
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML5/CSS practices
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
- Help back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting Skills and Qualifications.
- Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent.
- Working closely with web designers and programmers to produce the website.
- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy their content and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what time-frame.
- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down.
- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built.
Qualification/Skills Required:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional Experience.
- Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
- Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platform.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and Java SC.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issue.
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling.
- Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tool.
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and advanced libraries such as Angular.
- Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
- Used to working with modern repository management.
- Detail-oriented with great self-motivation, organization and communication skills.
