We are a dynamic, growing company (Head Office in the UK) developing advanced pricing, booking, management, & ticketing engines for the travel industry. All our solutions are delivered on a SAAS basis hosted within our own virtualized server infrastructure from datacentres in the UK and overseas, providing robust and scalable service offerings. We continue to grow in delivering new solutions to both our existing, and new customers, creating and delivering innovative, scalable, and robust software solutions to our growing customer base.
As we look to step up to the next level of growth, we are now setting up a Lahore development office, and are looking for an experienced IT Technician to provide IT support for the staff based in the Lahore office. This is an opportunity to get in at the start of a fantastically exciting new step in Calrom’s growth, as we look to deliver and support our solutions to more customers over the coming years.
You will report to the General Manager in the Lahore office, working closely with the IT team based in the UK to manage the day to day issues relating to the IT Infrastructure for the Lahore office. We would expect this role to include the following responsibilities:-
- Management and support of the IT infrastructure, Servers, Desktops, and Laptops in the Lahore office
- Delivery, configuration, and maintenance of the Windows Servers, Desktops, Laptops, and associated hardware within the Lahore office
- Responsibility for elements of the day to day system administration and monitoring of the Lahore office infrastructure
- Management of the monthly Microsoft patch management for the systems based in the Lahore office in liaison with the UK IT team
Suitable candidates will have 3 to 5 years’ experience, good organisation skills and be comfortable working on their own initiative. We would expect experience of the following:-
- Windows troubleshooting and support (both workstation and server)
- Windows Active Directory design, management, and maintenance
- Detailed knowledge of networking topologies and technologies, including appliances such as firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers
- Knowledge of the Microsoft HyperV platform
- Knowledge of industry offerings for supporting the IT infrastructure
- Excellent people skills, confident supporting users face-to-face
