Due to recent growth within our firm CapShire, we are looking for an experienced External Audit Associate to help us on day-to-day basis with the below mentioned duties and responsibilities.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of assurance engagements.
  • Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the engagement objectives, audit client's engagement history, and planned audit approach.
  • Recognize potential audit issues or unusual relationships from basic analysis of the financial statements and communicate them to the assurance team.

Skills and attributes for success 

  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress.
  • Contribute ideas/opinions to the assurance teams and listen/respond to other assurance team members' views
  • Demonstrate professionalism and competence in the audit client's environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good project management skills
  • Integrity within a professional environment

We will be willing to provide induction and training before the contract is agreed to give you scope and level of service required. The role is a full-time role and will be 5 days Monday – Friday.

The ideal candidate is expected to have ACCA or relevant accounting qualification and at least of 3 years of working experience in practice or in industry.

Big 4 candidate will be preferred.
