Caretek is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and hardworking attorney, preferably a US or UK law degree and American legal system exposure to join our in-house law practice team.
As a part of our team, you will work closely with our geographically diverse teams across Pakistan, the US, and Europe, actively participate in a wide variety of areas, including corporate, civil, employment, and IP laws, and will be involved in various transactional matters, data protection regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA) as well as active litigation in the US.
Please note that you'll be required to work from CareTek's Pakistan Office where working hours should be 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM (Mon-Fri).
- Applicant must have a strong command of English.
- Drafting and reviewing reports and other legal documents.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings (trials etc.).
- Applicant must have at least 1-2 years of similar experience, be exceptional in research, drafting, contract vetting, and have hands-on experience with litigation, and regulatory compliance.
- Lawyers with experience in dealing with U.S. laws/court systems and current U.S. bar membership are encouraged to apply.
- Our legal teams observe U.S. office hours (4 PM to 1 AM PST M-F) to work with our extended team in New York, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey in addition to numerous high-profile American law firms.
