Responsibilities:

  • Issue and monitor transportation documents, collects documents for dispatching and delivering of shipments
  • Perform system update and maintenance
  • Daily handling of business cases in the area of sea cargo shipments and delivering of shipments in accordance with the procedures for dispatching and delivering
  • Ensure profit margin of every job files  are uphold to company directives
  • Contact clients, agents and shipping companies, other freight forwarding companies and customs bodies in connection with dispatching and delivering of shipments
  • Organise the admission of the shipments into the customs warehouse, export customs clearance, loading into the vessel and the dispatching of shipments
  • Compose records about damages and deficits of shipments and complaint orders
  • Make/Extend last mile delivery services to client
  • Ensure coverage of insurance (temporarily or permanently)
  • Issue timely and accurate invoices to clients on a monthly basis
  • Compose records about damages and deficits of shipments and complaint orders
  • Perform physical filing of business cases
  • Compile the monthly bordero (P&L)  report for her/his relation
  • Generate sales leads
  • Knowledge of the standard operation procedures/guidelines (FCL & LCL) and systems like FM3000, S.P.O.T.

Requirements:

Minimum Education /Qualifications

  • GCE ‘O’ level certificate / Diploma in Freight Forwarding is an advantage

Minimum Experience & Special Knowledge

  • 3 years in the freight forwarding industry
  • Solid knowledge in the shipment documentation and process requirements of both local and overseas countries
  • Conversant in both spoken and written English
