We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at BHY Hospital in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately handling cash and credit transactions while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This role plays a vital part in creating a welcoming environment for clients, facilitating smooth payment processes, and supporting the overall service delivery within the hospital setting. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently process cash and credit transactions in a timely manner.
- Greet clients warmly to foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate the cash register and manage all cash dealings with clients effectively.
- Address and resolve customer complaints by offering relevant and helpful information.
- Collect payments from patients or attendants for services rendered via cash or card.
- Maintain accurate records of all services provided by entering data into the system.
- Respond to inquiries related to service entitlements in accordance with BHY policies.
- Perform counter closing duties, including preparing comprehensive documentation of cash summaries and cash on hand.
- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) as required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum education level of Intermediate or Bachelor’s degree.
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in a similar cashier or customer service role.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications to support daily operational tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
