This is a night shift job with working hours of 6pm-3am. Experience of 1-2 years in the following areas is preferred. A basic understanding of the following areas is needed:
Accounting journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting and capital budgeting.
Experience in accounts receivable, billing/collections, categorizing and documenting important documents and updating banking updates.
The Jr. Accounts Associate will maintain accounting records for all work done in an orderly functional manner. All documents are to be properly labeled, documented and saved within assigned softwares.
Assist with preparing and maintaining revenue worksheets – gather various revenue support documents daily and update the revenue worksheets on a daily and monthly basis.
Review and book daily bank transactions relating to the company. These bank transactions include cash and check deposits, credit card parking receipts, and cash and credit card retail receipts.
Enter daily financial transactions into the general ledger. Maintain general ledgers, recording the status of various accounts. Reconcile and report on various ledger accounts as required.
Assist with monthly review of Budget to Actuals variances in budgeting software & liaise with outside departments to ensure expenses are properly recorded & within budget.
Respond and manage the customer queries on the billing board.
Experience in Accounts Payable operations throughout the year including, inventory management, asset life-cycle (depreciation), property tax compliance, capitalization policies, and report generation.
Vendor management experience, identifying and resolving pricing disputes, product pricing updates, processing of procurement orders, and ordering equipment for new customer deployments.
Performing crucial monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis on financial data.
Have experience with year end and month end closing processes involved in bookkeeping and reporting.
