We are looking for a dedicated Security Control Room Operator to oversee and manage a range of security systems, including CCTV cameras, fire alarms, burglar alarms, and automated access control devices. This role is critical in ensuring the effective operation of all surveillance equipment within the control room, adhering strictly to standard operating procedures, and promptly reporting any unusual activities or incidents. The position is full-time, requires on-site presence, and offers a monthly salary of Rs40,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate CCTV cameras, fire alarm systems, burglar alarm systems, automated access control systems, and other related equipment within the CCTV control room.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain security protocols and control access to the control room.
- Report any incidents or suspicious activities observed through CCTV immediately to the Assistant Manager of Security.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all observations and data recordings using daily logs.
- Ensure the Digital Video Recorder (DVR) is functioning properly and that continuous recording is maintained without interruption.
- Oversee and monitor all activities occurring within the office premises to ensure safety and security.
- Track and monitor the movement of media vehicles within the premises.
- Observe and report staff activities to the Assistant Manager of Security as required.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras and other security surveillance equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating and monitoring CCTV and other security systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate and thorough records.
- Ability to strictly follow security protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Good communication skills to effectively report incidents and coordinate with security management.
- Basic technical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of DVR and CCTV systems.
