We are looking for Accounts Officer
Main Responsibilities:
- Managing records and receipts
- Reconciling daily, weekly, monthly and yearly transactions
- Processing invoices
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of organizational products and process
- Being a key point of contact for other departments on financial and accounting matters
- Supporting the Accounts Manager and executives with projects and tasks when required
- VAT preparation quarterly and annually along with its submission to HMRC
- Monthly deduction and submission of Tax withheld in Pakistan office.
- Contacting the UK office for any query.
- Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary
- Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
- Dealing with Bank as and when required
- Any other work assigned by manager
Requirements:
- Expertise with Cloud based Accounting software (Working on Sage and UK Vat is a Plus)
- Having 1 to 2 years of experience in handling accounts work (Ecommerce company is a plus)
- Intermediate computer skills in MS Office
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
- You must be willing to take initiatives and learn new things and looking for lean ideas and procedures.
