Job Title: Software Engineer (Design Engineer)
Experience: 1 to 2 years
Responsibilities:
- To become an active team member of software development team
- Ability to work on multi-priority and time-critical situations
- Collaborate and develop high-quality software solutions in an agile environment
- Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Write well-designed, testable code.
- Write and update technical documentation such as developers and users manuals, product specifications, and training materials
Skills Required:
- Candidate should have good knowledge and experience in the following:
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, JDBC, MVC/Hibernate.
- Must have proven experience with REST, Web Services, Spring Security, OAuth and JSON data structure.
- In-depth knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
- Experience with PostgreSQL database.
- Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (Angular, React). Working with map server will be an advantage.
- Web / Application Servers (Apache, Tomcat).
- Knowledge of JUnit and Test-driven Development
- Good knowledge of Software version tools like SVN, GIT etc.
