The Center for Evaluation and Development (C4ED) is looking for a new member to join its global team.

As a Project Manager/Project Coordinator you will play a key role in project work in our organization, coordinating projects, staff scheduling and donor collaboration across the company, as well as reviewing them through the use of various software applications. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, designing and implementing project management methodologies, mentoring project teams, and providing IT support and oversight in these processes. Working closely with project teams, management as well as the global C4ED team will allow to quickly get familiar with the internal structures.

Job Description:

  • Ensuring that project objectives are achieved and deadlines are met
  • Budget, staffing and scheduling including internal communication with the project team.
  • Administrative and financial reporting as required by donors and invoicing in collaboration with the finance team.
  • External communication and contract management with donors and subcontractors
  • Proofreading/quality control of project team reports.
  • Support in the professionalization of multi-project management and project controlling.
  • Organization of and participation in workshops (internal and with the customer)
  • Assist and coordinate in the regular update of the project management tool "Wrike" for all projects. 

Your Profile:

  • You have a relevant university degree in social sciences (economics, political science, sociology, geography) or another field related to C4ED's work
  • You have at least 2 years of professional experience, ideally in a non-profit or international organization
  • You have experience working in countries of the Global South
  • You work in a structured, independent and process-oriented manner
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • You have proven methodological competence and practical knowledge in project management
  • You have professional skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and have the ability to quickly adapt to new software
  • Perfect written and spoken English is a must and will be tested during the hiring process, fluency in other languages is desirable
  • You have very good team skills and experience with working in global teams
  • You have a confident, professional and self-assured demeanor and demonstrate a high level of commitment, enthusiasm and a persuasive approach to people
  • Identification with the mission of C4ED
  • Legal right to work in country where C4ED office is located.
