Research Associate - Qualifications and Experience
Education
- An advanced degree (Masters) in Sociology, Economics, English Literature, and Law or in any other
- subject related to social sciences.
Work Experience
Prior experience in report writing is advantageous but not required.
Skills
- Good research writing skills - Ability to write technical reports, information notes and summaries among others;
- Content management and development - Ability to design communication supports (such as
- presentations, brochures), and to produce website and social media content;
- Proficiency in IT (WORD, POWERPOINT, EXCEL etc.) and internet usage.
Competencies
- Capacity to work independently, plan activities and resolve challenges;
- Ability to work in a team, share and listen to ideas;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Ability to work in a multicultural and gender-sensitive environment.
- 3 month probation period.
