Job description
At Centric we are looking for a creative Sr. Web Designer (or Art Director) who is passionate about design and obsessive about designing online products with great user experience. The Web Designer’s key responsibility will be designing the website, banner designing and adaptation, social media creative communication, application designing by understanding the needs of our clients, their design brand guidelines as well as the objectives of their business requirement.
Prime responsibility:
- Understanding of briefs from seniors
- Visualization of the described idea/concept
- Banner creation and knowledge about media specification
- Banner adaptation and optimization
- Good understanding of technologies used for web and its implementation limits before executing any design (HTML5, CSS3, Open source, mobile)
- Understanding regarding user-centered design methods, user behavior
- Fluency in communication
- Expert skills in translating English skills to Arabic in different mediums
- Understanding and experience of working on Arabic communication
- Understanding of Social media creative requirements
- Ability to contribute in brain storming sections and pro-activeness
Desired Skills and Experience
We are looking for a team player, positive attitude and creatively driven person. Communication should be excellent and use to agency environment.
- 5+ years of experience designing websites/banners and web applications
- Good adaptation to different requirements in the fast changing digital environment
- Ability to explain your design decisions , thoughts and ideas
- Attention to details and understanding of requirement a must
- Presentation to clients and a presentable personality preferred
- Knowledge of Arabic language preferred
Software:
- Proficient in the Adobe CS5+ creative suite – specifically Photoshop/Flash and Illustrator
- HTML knowledge, CSS understanding
- User Interaction fundamentals and web standards understanding
