Role and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance and supervision of the Project Coordinator, the Cash Distribution Officer will be responsible for the following deliverables;
- The distribution office will be responsible for the overall management of cash distributions in the field.
- Incumbents must be able to manage large crowds, transporters, drivers, and all other participants in the activity.
- Coordination with source warehouse staff for smooth collection of material, further ensuring safe transportation to destination.
- Must be familiar with local customs and practices.
- Maintain good liaison with source warehouse, Cesvi base logistics unit, and field distribution points, management team.
- Must be familiar with the locality of the field to select safe and feasible distribution points.
- Good coordination with the transport company to manage the trucking and drivers.
- Must be familiar with transparent and accountable practices for distributions.
- Monitor and avoid and influence locals to interpret the distribution and biased practices.
- Management of cash distribution points including seating arrangements, shelter, water, and most importantly security of points.
- Good coordination with local law enforcement authorities.
- Supervise the preparation of beneficiary lists.
- Organize and arrange cash distributions according to SOP defined by CESVI.
- Make sure of the organized distributions, and work with the team leader and PC to ensure program implementation is on time, on target, and according to budget as planned.
- Collect all data needed for reporting during and after distributions and submit accurate and detailed reports on each distribution on daily basis.
- Support in all aspects of the distribution process from kit release from warehouse, to distribution site set-up, implementation, and kit reconciliation.
- Work with distribution teams and MEAL colleagues to ensure all information related to kit distribution is recorded appropriately.
- Ensures work schedules are in place to promote efficiency.
- Any other job-related added task assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management/Business Administration or equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum of 03 years of relevant experience in Logistics/Cash Distribution, preferably in NGOs/INGOs.
Competencies:
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced fluid environment.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build the link with staff, partners, government officials, donors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Creative and flexible with problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism and diplomacy.
- Ability to confidently represent oneself to high-level officials.
- People management particularly coaching and influence management
Technical Skills:
- Confident and proficient in using MS Office, proficiency in Sindhi, Balochi, and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
