Job Description
· USA based IT consulting firm looking for an experienced Salesforce Administrator & Developer to work for us remotely; This job will entail 70% Administration and 30% Development.
Responsibilities
· Handle all administrative day to day functions, including user and production maintenance, creating custom reports, users, and dashboards, and workflows.
· Administer overall setup, configuration, and maintenance of the Salesforce application. This includes troubleshooting system issues and providing technical advice and support for users.
· Solving internal user related requests and issues via email.
Permissions, Custom Reports, Deduping and dashboards, Workflows, any outstanding Salesforce related issues.
· Serve as the subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration, and customization of complex environments
· Strong understanding of SalesForce Declarative Programming and Administration (Develop Code, Custom Objects, Visual Force Pages, Reports, Apex, Workflows and Assignment Rules)
· Design and develop solutions primarily on the Salesforce Platform using Apex Programming Language and Visual Force.
· Develop Software Solutions using MS tools, SalesForce.com API Framework, and 3rd Party API’s
JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
· 3+ years of Salesforce.com Administration and Development
· 3+ years working on implementations of the Salesforce.com application
· Intermediate level of proficiency in Salesforce.com administrative tasks such as creating user profiles, roles, custom objects, custom fields, page layouts, workflow rules, validation rules, reports, dashboards
· Experience with data management and relational database design and familiarity with SQL data formats, table joins, ETL, etc.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
· Strong Knowledge of Apex and Visual Force.
· Detailed experience writing Lightning Components, Visualforce and Apex classes and triggers
· Proficiency in HTML, XML, Flex, JavaScript, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, SOAP-based web services
· Experience using Salesforce tools (Data Loader, VS Code or Other IDEs)
· Strong understanding of relational databases
· Experience integrating Salesforce.com with other applications via real-time, batch, sync/async
