Candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Experience:
⦁ 5 + years of travel Agency experience
⦁ Strong Sabre/PC skills
⦁ Problem Solving
⦁ Customer Service
⦁ International/Domestic fares
⦁ Groups and VIP experience an asset
⦁ Amedeus and galileo knowledge will be plus
Responsibilities will include:
Supervisor Positions:
⦁ To provides support to all Agents.
⦁ The Supervisor will be the point of contact for Agents when they need assistance with day to day type questions/challenges.
⦁ The role entails supervisory task along with Agents responsibilities such as but not limited to taking reservations for clients.
Main Supporting Activities:
⦁ Assists with daily questions from travel team
⦁ Assists with training, coaching, mentoring of travel consultants and new hires
⦁ Ensures compliance with client’s corporate travel policies and vendor contacts
⦁ Ensures adequate team coverage thru effective scheduling
⦁ Keeps Travel Team updated on procedures/process improvement
⦁ Maintains a good working environment for Travel Team
⦁ Ensures compliance with Company’s procedures for documentation, ticketing, voids, refunds
⦁ Assists accounting with invoicing, debit memos, or formatting issues
⦁ Training the team on company’s compliance procedures
Accountability:
⦁ Daily approval of hours worked by Travel Team for accurate payroll processing
⦁ Monitoring of vacation and sick day allotment per Travel Team
⦁ Provides guidance and assistance on complex/large travel requests
⦁ Researches Debit memos
⦁ Corrects client reports
⦁ Builds/updates profiles and Stars
⦁ Encourages training classes to assist Travel Team to perform their job functions adequately.
⦁ Responds to Customer issues in a timely manner
⦁ Remains current on Industry Changes by monitoring Travel advisories and taking appropriate action
