- Responsible for planning and conducting internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of an organization's internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assessing risks, identifying areas for improvement, and making recommendations for corrective action. Conducts follow-up reviews to ensure that recommendations have been implemented.
- Developing and implementing internal audit plans
- Preparing Reports on Audit Findings and recommendations
- Communicating with management and other stakeholders about audit results
- Keeping abreast of changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.
- Collaborating with external auditors as needed.
- Must have strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills, as well as a thorough understanding of accounting, finance, and internal control principles.
- Responsible for conducting the monthly, quarterly and annual stock counts along with preparing & presenting the Stock count Report for the same to the Department HOD/Director.
- Performing special projects and other duties as assigned.
