Our client, a prominent leader in the concrete industry, is looking for a seasoned and proactive Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead operational initiatives and support business expansion. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to convert high-level goals into practical actions, optimize processes, and encourage cross-departmental collaboration. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage daily operations effectively while ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term strategic vision and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all core business functions, including production, logistics, sales, procurement, human resources, administration, and finance.
- Develop and implement strategies, policies, and systems that drive organizational goals.
- Enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability across departments.
- Manage plant operations, supply chain, and quality control to guarantee timely and cost-efficient delivery.
- Monitor financial performance and optimize resource allocation to maximize returns.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements throughout the organization.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate department heads to foster high performance and operational excellence.
- Report directly to the CEO, providing insights on business performance and operational challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the CEO on strategic planning, key business decisions, and policy implementation.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as COO, General Manager of Operations, or a similar position.
- Strong background in manufacturing, construction materials, or related industries.
- Exceptional leadership skills paired with strong analytical and strategic decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated success in managing multiple departments and delivering results under pressure.
