We are UK based legal firm and looking for a self motivated Legal Assistant to ensure smooth running of the office and effective file management. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services.
Responsibilities
- Able to draft legal documents, contracts, deeds, notices in excellent way.
- Handle communication with clients through emails or phone calls etc.
- Update the website and be able to develop terms & conditions for business website.
- Prepare written replies by adding relevant legal provisions.
- Type up and file basic legal documents and correspondence
- Able to complete task within given time and cope up with pressure.
- Maintain contact lists
- Monitor deadlines and juggle calendars
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum qualification required for this post is graduation with excellent writing skills but preference will be given to LLB or LLM with minimum two years of experience.
- Proven working experience of at least two years as Legal Assistant.
- Familiarity with law, legal procedures and official protocols.
- Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office.
- Computer literacy
- Proficiency in English
- Working knowledge of case management software
- Excellent secretarial and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure
