Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Laravel 8+ web applications and RESTful APIs, adhering to best practices in MVC architecture and clean code principles.
- Build and enhance frontend components using Vue.js version 2 or 3 to create responsive and engaging user interfaces.
- Execute Node.js backend tasks including API development and scripting to support application functionality beyond Laravels scope.
- Deploy, configure, and manage applications on AWS using services such as EC2, RDS, and S3, ensuring optimal performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT and Laravel Sanctum to protect application data.
- Collaborate in remote teams using Git workflows, maintaining code repositories, managing branches, and resolving merge conflicts efficiently.
- Integrate and utilize AI APIs such as OpenAI to enhance application capabilities and introduce intelligent features.
- Employ AI-assisted coding tools like Copilot, Cursor, and ChatGPT to increase development efficiency and code quality.
- Manage MySQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and routine maintenance to support application data requirements.
- Apply Docker fundamentals to containerize applications, facilitating consistent development, testing, and deployment environments.
- Set up and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate build and deployment processes.
- Ensure basic AWS IAM policies and security best practices are in place to safeguard cloud resources and sensitive data.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to cloud hosting, application performance, and database operations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in Laravel, AWS, and AI tools, to continuously improve development processes.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers to uphold high code quality standards.
