Consultant Pathologist

Chughtai Healthcare seeks a skilled Consultant Pathologist with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our diagnostic team. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in histopathology, immunohistochemistry, cytopathology, molecular pathology, and clinical pathology. This role involves interpreting complex diagnostic tests, ensuring high standards of quality assurance, and contributing to accurate patient diagnosis through meticulous laboratory management and advanced diagnostic techniques. The Consultant Pathologist will work independently without managing a team, focusing on delivering precise pathology services and collaborating with clinicians to support optimal patient outcomes. The successful candidate demonstrates proficiency in medical coding and documentation as well as comprehensive analysis including flow cytometry and complete blood count interpretation. They stay current with emerging advancements in hematology and cytopathology analysis and apply these insights to enhance laboratory processes and diagnostic accuracy. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple diagnostic cases efficiently while adhering to regulatory and quality standards.
Responsibilities

Perform detailed examination and interpretation of tissue samples using histopathology and immunohistochemistry techniques to assist in disease diagnosis.
Conduct cytopathology evaluations and molecular pathology tests to identify disease at cellular and molecular levels.
Analyze clinical pathology data including complete blood counts and flow cytometry to provide comprehensive diagnostic reports.
Oversee laboratory management activities to ensure operational efficiency, compliance with quality assurance protocols, and maintenance of safety standards.
Prepare accurate medical coding and documentation for all diagnostic procedures performed, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Interpret hematology results and cytopathology analyses to support clinical decision making and patient management.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to correlate clinical information with laboratory findings for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic techniques and implement improvements to testing protocols to enhance diagnostic precision.
Ensure all pathology services adhere to rigorous quality assurance measures, continually assessing and refining laboratory practices.
Manage and organize test case documentation meticulously, ensuring traceability and reproducibility of diagnostic results.
