Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a diligent Front Desk Officer to serve as the initial point of contact for patients and visitors. The ideal candidate possesses excellent customer service and communication skills, alongside the ability to efficiently handle data entry and resolve routine issues. This role requires a minimum of one year of experience and the educational qualification of FSC Premedical. The Front Desk Officer plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and organized environment, ensuring smooth operations at the healthcare facility without the responsibility of managing a team. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential to support daily administrative tasks and patient coordination.
Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing clear and helpful information about services and directions within the healthcare center.
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including scheduling appointments and updating patient records accurately in the system.
  • Perform data entry tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of all patient information and administrative records.
  • Handle inbound phone calls and direct inquiries to relevant departments or staff members, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in resolving basic patient concerns and questions by identifying issues and escalating complex matters to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area to uphold a professional and welcoming environment.
  • Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to facilitate timely patient flow and service delivery.
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies related to the front desk operations and report needs to supervisors.
  • Follow compliance protocols and healthcare regulations related to patient privacy and safety during all interactions and data handling.
  • Support administrative duties such as filing, scanning, and preparing documents as required by the healthcare unit.
