Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Phelobotmoist to join our medical team. Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and other blood withdrawal techniques accurately and safely to collect patient specimens.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety compliance protocols and infection control standards during specimen collection.
- Label and document each specimen accurately to maintain traceability and prevent errors in processing.
- Engage in effective patient interaction to provide comfort and clear instructions during procedures.
- Handle phlebotomy equipment responsibly, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Enter patient and specimen data accurately into digital or physical records to support laboratory processing.
- Apply medical terminology knowledge in documenting and communicating patient information and specimen details.
- Multitask efficiently in a dynamic clinical environment, managing multiple specimen collections and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to coordinate specimen transport and processing to meet diagnostic requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to comply with healthcare facility standards.
- Report any adverse events or complications during specimen collection promptly to clinical supervisors.
- Keep current with advances in phlebotomy techniques and healthcare regulations to improve service delivery.
