Responsibilities
- Collaboration with development teams (developers/manual QAs/DevOps)
- Automation of regression and other functional testing of Web/API applications
- Maintaining automated testing frameworks
- Integrating automated testing into CI processes
- Test case adjustments for automated testing needs
- Test data and test environment preparations
- Making conclusions and reporting about the stability of the product under test
- Possibility to perform testing activities on several projects, communicate with developers and project managers
Requirements
- 4 years of professional experience in QA Automation of Web/Mobile and API/Service testing
- Knowledge of test automation approaches and procedures
- Good knowledge of different testing methods, techniques and types
- Good skills in nodejs/js and OOP (prototype approach)
- Good understanding of development patterns
- Good knowledge of Cypress
- Experience with Selenium (NodeJS) WebDriverJS or WebdriverIO frameworks
- Experience with at least one of test runners: JasmineJS, MochaJS, CucumberJS, Jest, AVA
- Understanding of the event loop model in nodejs/browser and async execution
- Good understanding of CSS and XPATH selectors syntax
- Experience with continuous integration processes and tools (Jenkins, teamcity, or similar)
- Experience of working with version control systems (e.g. GIT, SVN and others)
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum/Kanban.
- Strong level spoken and written proficiency in English
Desirable
- Some experience with cloud-based automation solutions like BitBar, Saucelabs, Browserstack
- Experience with mobile testing tools (Appium, Detox)
- Knowledge of SQL, noSQL
