Job Summary
We are looking for an ambitious and diversified full time software developer who wants an opportunity to be involved in all development aspects at a growing drone software startup. If this describes you, this is your chance to make an impression in the drone startup world.
Civil Tracker Inc. is a Canadian SaaS Startup providing drone mapping software, with Pakistan based development. We strive to be an innovative, agile, and progressive company. Our product helps our users around the world map with low cost drones and provides the ability to visualize, measure and obtain insights from their maps.
Our company is small and the ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to work in many different fields. Including, front end, back end, server management, database management, customer support, documentation, R&D and data processing etc.
Responsibilities
- Maintain uptime of SaaS software. Identify and resolve customer issues and trouble shooting data issues
- Create and monitor administrative dashboards
- Assist in the design, development and implementation of all aspects of Civil Tracker’s application
- Translate design and wireframes into efficient back end analysis
- Expand product within our Python DJANGO backend and REACT JS UI
- Maintain internal software development testing, validation and documentation system
- Integrate payment systems with STRIPE
- Setup user account system and manage access privileges
- Create and maintain documentation

Requirements
- Minimum BSc. or BA in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 1+ years’ experience in designing web applications and software development
- Demonstrated knowledge of Python (DJANGO)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Javascript (REACT), REDUX CSS and HTML
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services
- Excellent oral and written English
The follow would be an asset
- Experience with GIS and Geospatial Libraries (PostGIS, GeoDjango, GDAL, PDAL, Mapbox, Cesium etc.)
- Experience with STRIPE is an asset
- Knowledge of 3D game engines such as Unity
Compensation
- Compensation will be inline with qualifications

Location
- Office location will be provided in Islamabad. Partial work from home option available after 6 months
