Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert to join our team in Islamabad. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership to design innovative solutions, influence executive decision-making, and drive cloud and cybersecurity adoption across large enterprises and public-sector organizations. The ideal candidate will mentor junior consultants, lead presales engagements, and develop security strategies that address evolving threats and regulatory demands.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of complex, multi-vendor network and cybersecurity solutions involving technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Check Point. Ensure that these solutions meet customer requirements for compliance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate closely with sales teams to qualify opportunities, develop tailored solution proposals, and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to both executive and technical audiences. Engage directly with CISOs, CTOs, and IT leadership to understand their security strategies, compliance needs, and operational challenges. Recommend cybersecurity best practices, architectural frameworks, and governance models, while authoring whitepapers, reference architectures, and thought leadership content to position the organization as a trusted advisor. Provide market and product insights to influence OEM offerings and future platform enhancements. Lead the technical aspects of RFP and RFI responses, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client objectives.

Required Qualifications

Strong expertise in network security architecture, including firewalls, Zero Trust models, SD-WAN, VPNs, and network segmentation. Deep knowledge of cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, identity and access management, SASE, and cloud security principles. Relevant OEM certifications such as Fortinet NSE 7/8, Cisco CCNP or CCIE Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSA or CCSE, alongside industry-recognized certifications like CISSP or equivalent. Proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value propositions, with experience in telco, enterprise, and regulated industry environments. Demonstrated innovation in developing multi-OEM solution frameworks, hybrid and multi-cloud security architectures, as well as automation and orchestration concepts. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging executives, technical teams, and procurement through storytelling, workshops, and executive briefings.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering discipline is preferred, with advanced qualifications in Network & Security Architecture considered a plus. Over 10 years of experience in network and cybersecurity architecture, with a proven track record of designing enterprise-grade solutions for complex infrastructures. At least 5 years of presales or solution consultancy experience, influencing multi-million-dollar deals. Hands-on experience integrating multi-OEM technologies within enterprise and telecommunications environments. Demonstrated ability to engage senior IT leadership on security transformation and compliance initiatives. Experience responding to RFPs and RFIs, defending proposals, and leading competitive bid strategies. Familiarity with regulated sectors such as BFSI, Government, and Telecom, including compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SBP. Leadership in designing and executing proof-of-concept projects to validate architectures. Exposure to emerging technologies including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and AI-driven security analytics.
