Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert to join our team in Islamabad. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at the executive level. The successful candidate will lead presales engagements, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to shaping cloud and cybersecurity strategies for large enterprise and public-sector clients. Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design of complex, multi-vendor network and cybersecurity solutions involving Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, and others. Ensure alignment of customer requirements, threat landscapes, and regulatory needs with scalable, resilient, and cost-effective architectures.

Pre-Sales Engagement: Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, develop solution proposals, and deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders. Engage directly with CISOs, CTOs, and IT leaders to understand security strategies and compliance challenges.

Advisory & Best Practices: Promote cybersecurity best practices, architectural frameworks, and governance models. Develop whitepapers, reference architectures, and thought leadership content to position the organization as a trusted advisor in the industry.

Product & Platform Insights: Provide valuable market and customer feedback to product teams to influence the roadmap and enhancements of OEM solutions.

Bid & Proposal Leadership: Own the technical sections of RFP/RFI responses, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client objectives.

Required Qualifications

Strong expertise in network security architecture, including firewalls, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, VPN, and network segmentation. Comprehensive knowledge of cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, identity and access management, SASE, and cloud security is essential.

Relevant OEM certifications such as Fortinet NSE 7/8, Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, along with industry certifications like CISSP or equivalent, are required.

A solid understanding of telco, enterprise, and regulated industry environments, with the ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value.

Proven experience in multi-OEM integration across enterprise and telco-grade infrastructures.

A minimum of 10 years in network and cybersecurity architecture roles, with at least 5 years in presales or solution consultancy influencing high-value deals.

Demonstrated engagement with senior IT leadership on security transformation and compliance initiatives.

Hands-on experience with RFP/RFI processes, proposal defenses, and competitive bidding.

Experience producing technical advisories, whitepapers, and reference architectures.

Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SBP, especially within regulated sectors like BFSI, government, and telecom.

Leadership in designing and executing proof-of-concept engagements to validate proposed solutions.

Exposure to emerging technologies including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and AI-driven security analytics.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
