We are seeking a seasoned Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert to join our team in Islamabad. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership to influence decision-making at senior levels. The successful candidate will lead presales engagements, mentor junior consultants, and help define cloud and cybersecurity strategies for large enterprises and public-sector organizations. This position provides the opportunity to work with advanced technologies and collaborate directly with C-suite executives to drive security transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of complex, multi-vendor network and cybersecurity solutions involving technologies such as Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Check Point. Ensure alignment of customer requirements, threat landscapes, and regulatory mandates with scalable, resilient, and cost-effective solutions.
Pre-Sales Engagement: Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities, develop tailored solution proposals, and deliver persuasive technical presentations and demonstrations to both technical and executive stakeholders, including CISOs and CTOs.
Advisory & Best Practices: Promote cybersecurity best practices, architectural frameworks, and governance models. Develop whitepapers, reference architectures, and thought leadership materials to position the organization as a trusted advisor in the cybersecurity domain.
Product & Platform Insights: Provide actionable market and customer feedback to product teams to help shape future OEM product offerings.
Bid & Proposal Leadership: Oversee the technical aspects of RFP and RFI responses, ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with client objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive expertise in network security architecture, including firewalls, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, VPN, and network segmentation.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, identity and access management, SASE, and cloud security.
- Relevant OEM certifications such as Fortinet NSE 7/8, Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, and CISSP or equivalent credentials.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications, enterprise, and regulated industry environments, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering discipline. Advanced qualifications in network and security architecture are preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in network and cybersecurity architecture, including at least 5 years in presales or solution consultancy roles influencing multi-million-dollar deals.
- Hands-on experience integrating multi-OEM solutions within enterprise and telco-grade environments.
- Proven ability to engage with CISOs, CTOs, and IT leadership on security strategy, compliance, and risk management.
- Demonstrated experience responding to RFPs/RFIs, defending proposals, and developing competitive bid strategies.
- Skilled in mapping threat landscapes to solution portfolios and selecting appropriate OEM technologies.
- Familiarity with regulated sectors such as BFSI, government, and telecom, including knowledge of compliance standards like ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SBP.
- Leadership experience in designing and executing proof-of-concept engagements.
- Exposure to emerging technologies including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and AI-driven security analytics.
