Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud & Cybersecurity Presales Expert to join our team in Islamabad. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership, with responsibilities spanning solution design, client engagement, and mentoring junior consultants. The ideal candidate will drive presales activities and contribute to shaping cloud and cybersecurity strategies for large enterprises and public-sector organizations. The focus will be on delivering scalable, resilient, and cost-effective security solutions that meet complex business and regulatory demands.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture: Lead the development of sophisticated, multi-vendor network and cybersecurity solutions incorporating technologies from Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Check Point, and others. Ensure alignment between customer requirements, evolving threat landscapes, and compliance standards by selecting optimal OEM solutions.

Pre-Sales Engagement: Partner with sales teams to qualify opportunities and craft tailored solution proposals. Deliver persuasive technical presentations and demonstrations to C-level executives and technical stakeholders, including CISOs, CTOs, and IT leadership, to address security strategies and compliance challenges.

Advisory & Best Practices: Promote cybersecurity best practices, architectural frameworks, and governance models. Develop whitepapers, reference architectures, and thought leadership materials to position the organization as a trusted advisor in the cybersecurity domain.

Product & Platform Insights: Act as a liaison between customers and product teams by providing market intelligence and feedback to influence future product development and OEM capabilities.

Bid & Proposal Leadership: Oversee the technical aspects of RFP and RFI responses, ensuring proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client objectives.

Required Qualifications

- Extensive expertise in network security architecture, including firewalls, Zero Trust, SD-WAN, VPN, and network segmentation.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity operations, threat intelligence, identity and access management, SASE, and cloud security.
- Relevant OEM certifications such as Fortinet NSE 7/8, Cisco CCNP/CCIE Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, and CISSP or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications, enterprise, and regulated industry environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related engineering discipline.
- Over 10 years of experience in network and cybersecurity architecture, with a minimum of 5 years in presales or solution consultancy roles.
- Proven experience managing multi-OEM integrations in enterprise and telco-grade environments.
- Demonstrated capability in engaging senior executives on security transformation and compliance initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with RFP/RFI responses, proposal defense, and competitive bid strategies.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and SBP.
- Leadership experience in proof-of-concept design and execution.
- Exposure to emerging technologies including Zero Trust, SASE, XDR, and AI-driven security analytics.
