General requirements
The Business Development Representative will be responsible for video-based email outreach. Your goal will be to use your personality, video-friendly nature and tenacity to spread the word to marketers about company and how company can help them get development work done quicker.
As a business development representative, you will:
- Work off a list of prospects to connect in a meaningful way using video.
- Creatively introduce company to people that don’t know about us.
- Schedule discovery meetings for sales representatives
- Work your way up to sending 200 outreach videos per month introducing yourself and company to potentially interested customers.
Required qualifications:
- Excellent phone, video and listening skills
- Self-starter who has a desire to learn, grow, and excel in their role
- Knowledge of business processes and organizational structures
- Interest in web development and marketing
- At least one year of professional experience
- Knowledge and ability to maintain a CRM and CRM tools
Desired qualifications:
- Experience reaching or exceeding activity goals and quotas
- Familiarity with HubSpot a huge plus
- Understanding of the marketing agency vertical
