JOB SUMMARY:

Network Engineer responsible for the deployment of new & existing network infrastructure of customers Responsible for designing, installing, and supporting the entire system & Customer support services after implementation.

Work as part of an IP team but the majority of their work is completed on their own.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Expert on Huawei firewalls, Huawei Core Switches, Cloud engine, Access switch.
• Huawei Campus networks LAN /WLAN.
• Intensive Expertise in Network Design, building, implements  & troubleshooting the live network.
• The design and implementation of new solutions and improving the resilience of the current environment.
• Configuration of routing and switching & firewall, LB , WAF.
• Extensive working & Deployment  Expertise Router basic to advance configuration for  IPv4/IPv6 configuration, IP addressing, IGP routing,  route-policy, GRE Tunnel, Ipsec Tunnel, MPLS, MPLS VPN, BGP, Clustering, firmware upgradation,
• Experienced in WAN protocols (BGP, OSPF), LAN/WLAN (DNS, IP Addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast), Huawei Cloud Engine & Datacenter core Switches, Huawei Routers, Huawei Firewall.
• Switching Vlan, access, trunk & hybrid port configuration. Enabling telnet, ssh, setting aaa passwords and static routing configuration. Enabling ftp, LLDP ,Intelligent Stack (iStack,CSS

 Product/Features Deployment expertise

• Cloud Engine 16800, 12800, CE6800, CE5800 series switches.
• Huawei 7700 Core & Access S5700 series switches.
• HUAWEI USG6000 series, Firewall HA/Cluster Active/Standby for services failover, Security policies enabling IPS/IDS, AV & Content filtering functionality with relevant policies.
• NAT, Internet for LAN/Intranet users policies. Bandwidth Management policies, IPSEC site-multisite, SSL VPN configuration, Zone & DMZ configuration.
• AR12xx & NE40, NE05 Routers, BGP OSPF, MPLS, Router redistribution, route filtering, NAPT , multiple subinterfaces, multiple OSPF instances, Configure IP Prefix list , Configure SSH multiple users with access level fo. Configure MPLS, BGP and establish BGP peer neighborship.

• Configuration of VRRP /FHR , HSRP, ETHERCHANNEL/PORTCHANNEL
• Troubleshoot & Provide Tier-1/2/3 support in order to diagnose and resolve escalated issues that may cause Service Degradation or Interruption in the Connectivity of the Data Center, DR, Regional Hubs and all branches
• Knowledge of NG-Firewalls (Multi-vendor, Huawei, FortiGate), Security products/practices – ACLs, Firewalls, VPN, etc.
• Proactive monitoring (Huawei eSight , SolarWinds, PRTG knowledge of NMS/Syslog monitoring, alerting, and escalations.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to articulate project level presentations to business sponsors
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills to resolve complex problems
• Ability to draft and document designs and standards
• Project experience implementing core infrastructure, networking, and cloud-based services for business teams or consumers
• Familiar with 24x7 operational support.
• Establishing a networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards (HLD/LLD/Network Documentation)
• Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
• Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
• Upgrading data network equipment to latest stable firmware releases
• Remote support of on-site engineers and end users/customers during installation.
• Remote troubleshooting and fault finding if issues occur upon initial installation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills; ability to convey complex information to a range of stakeholders clearly and concisely
• Eager to learn new technologies and skills
• Troubleshoots complex, integration and environment issues escalated from Customer
• Provide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for issues

• Must have a proven record of Infrastructure Operations & deployment  with expert-level skills for operations & maintenance of Hardware

Job Specification Certification  HCIE /HCNP or equivalent (certified) is preferred ( CCNP/CCIE)
