COMSATS Internet Services (CIS), Pakistan's pioneer ISP, invites applications from qualified and experienced candidates, for appointment on contract basis against the post of Assistant Manager (Accounts) for Islamabad Office. The details of the job are as under:
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial documents, reports, accounts payable, receivable and managing payroll.
- Completing financial reports on a regular basis and generate financial information as per requirement.
- Assisting with preparation of budgets.
- Completing bank reconciliations.
- Entering financial information into appropriate software programs.
- Managing ledgers.
- Coordinating internal and external audits.
- Verifying balances in account books and rectifying discrepancies.
- Verifying bank deposits.
- Managing day-to-day transactions.
- Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various tasks, including preparing budgets, records and statements.
- Posting daily receipts.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets.
- Completing the year-end analysis.
- Reporting on debtors and creditors.
- Managing monthly budgeting tasks.
- Sorting financial documents and posting them to the proper accounts.
- Reviewing computer reports for accuracy and meticulously tracing errors back to their source.
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of computer-Windows and Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel.
- Should have working knowledge of Accounting Package.
- Confident, Self-driven and a Team Player.
