Produce complete and accurate drawings for the approval/permit process, the detailing of fabrication drawings, and the erection of the building.
Essential Functions of Position (to include, but not limited to):
- Associate of Science degree or equivalent drafting technology.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD required.
- Ability to draft required structures using Revit, a 3D modeling software within a pre-determined time frame.
- Produce a set of building drawings concurrently with the Project Engineer, including anchor plans, roof plans, elevations, sections and erection details.
- Ability to produce paper and PDF project drawings for review by project Engineers for permit or as required.
- Ability to quickly and accurately correct or address red lines for accurate drawings.
- Implement Engineering Designs to CAD drawing.
- Single & Three Line Diagrams
- Network Diagrams
- Plot Plans & Elevations
- Lighting/Receptacle Plans & Schedules
- Conduit Plans & Schedules
- General CAD: layering, dimensions, text, blocks, attributes, viewports, xrefs, plotting
- “As-built” plans and documents
- “Design-Build” contractor design assistance
- Must be able to read and interpret design drawings.
- Excellent work ethics.
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Good English skills. Able to speak, read and understand.
- Computer skills - Excel, Outlook and Word software.
