Deliverables: Outputs and Activities
Discussions with stakeholders:
· Visits and hold discussions with stakeholders including communities, meeting LMFP Staff and discussing coordination needed to make this project successful
· Meeting with Govt. of AJK and discussing support needed from them
Contextualization of the Concept:
· Contextualize the TAP concept with reference to AJK.
Preparing Design:
· Chalk down the funds requirement of each home owner
· Assess and recommend room renovations model
· Assess and recommend how front-end company should be formed which will promote and smoothly operate TAP in future
· Assess and recommend a room rental model (To avoid loss to homeowners by charging low rentals and avoid exploitation of tourists by charging excessive rentals)
· Assess and recommend how technology can be incorporated in this model so that hosts and customers can interact directly in future
· Develop a room scheduling process (Assess occupancy)
· Formulating standards for rooms renovation
· Devise Customer feedback mechanism and preparing a detailed customer feedback report
Initiating TAP
· Assess/formalize legal arrangements for TAP (in collaboration with PO)
· Grade rooms (Room rating based upon their accessibility, quality, amnesties, etc.)
· Train and guide full time employee of TAP, homeowners and LMFP staff
· Promote the project with tourist operators
· Supervise operations in the pilot phase by setting up local support (coordination with LMFP & Govt. of AJK)
· Monitor progress of rooms upgradation and readiness through LMFP offices (for pilot)
Preparation of final report
· Recommend a strategy for TAP and workable model for future on the basis of pilot project
· Prepare final report comprising all deliverables.
