The SQL Developer / BI Data Integration Specialist works onsite in Lahore, focusing on full-time responsibilities with an emphasis on delivering data-driven insights that support organizational objectives. Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database scripts to support business intelligence and data integration requirements.
- Develop and manage ETL processes to extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources for integration into data warehouses and reporting platforms.
- Integrate data from APIs and third-party systems to enhance database and reporting functionality.
- Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.
- Utilize Python to automate data extraction, transformation, processing, and analysis activities, improving workflow efficiency.
- Join and manipulate large datasets originating from ERP systems and multiple databases, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Conduct query optimization, indexing, and query rewriting to enhance database performance and reduce latency.
- Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to gather and refine requirements for reporting and data integration projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to database performance, API connectivity, and report generation.
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of database schemas, ETL pipelines, data flows, and integration points to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintenance.
- Monitor data quality and consistency across various systems to support reliable business intelligence outputs.
- Stay informed regarding data warehousing concepts and emerging BI tools to continuously improve analytical capabilities.
- Apply best practices for version control using tools such as Git to manage code and database scripts.
- Participate actively in business intelligence and reporting environments to support data-driven decision-making.
