Job Overview

ERP consultants support and assist organizations and clients with ERP (enterprise resource planning) programs and processes. They assess business operations, paying special attention to challenges and weaknesses in current systems, and recommend technological solutions. They can help with all phases of a project's life cycle, including test results and technical support, as well as data analytics to assess the impact of implemented changes.

ERP consultants help clients install and maintain enterprise resource planning (ERP) software. They assess clients' business requirements, create customized ERP solutions, and seamlessly integrate ERP applications into existing infrastructure. ERP consultants can work for companies or on their own

Responsibilities

Assist in the development of client project work statements
Manage all testing, moving, and configuration of changes/fixes in ERP System
Communicate project updates, including status, risks, issues, and cost overrun
Offer ongoing support to existing clients through email/phone support and onsite visits
End-user ERP training and technical support
Assist prospective companies to their ERP development and evaluation by gathering information about their business strategies, processes, desired outcomes, and key success factors, and analyzing technology tools to help them achieve their goals
Gather requirements and facilitate the customer in documenting their requirements
Identifying ERP requirements through consultation, business process analysis, and observations
Assist users with their ERP/CRM issues and requests by acting as a help desk resource

Requirements

Microsoft Cloud - based understanding
Time management and problem-solving skills
Leadership and critical thinking skills
Knowledge of SQL, RP, Enterprise Resource Planning, G olive, and Syteline software and systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related field is preferred
3+ years of experience as an ERP sales consultant in a related sector is required
