Specific Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and communicate allocation strategies to optimize inventory levels and maximize sales by store.
- Execute and communicate the release of initial product assortment through end of life cycle of merchandise including in-season replenishment to stores and consolidation of goods to other stores or channels.
- Manage overall store inventory levels based on store capacity, attributes, seasonality and selling curves.
- Identify and communicate sales opportunities and stock liabilities by door on a regular basis. Ensure that buy quantities and stock levels meet current sales trends and maximize readiness for key selling time periods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team on new seasonal deliveries, key items & replenishment styles to drive sales through inventory requirements to ensure in optimal stock position.
- Update and monitor inventory levels at the style/color/size level, by analyzing current trend to align with the merchandising strategies.
- Recap business at by door level and create best seller/hindsight reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis to allow for thorough analysis of the business. Communicate and champion needs of the stores.
- Create and implement store-attribute performance models through analysis and store communication.
- Manage communication regarding inventory/replenishment with field contacts, as needed.
- Analyze store geographic, size selling, and create appropriate distribution strategies to optimize inventory levels.
- Develop, execute, and communicate transfers and consolidations by store.
- Track in bound merchandise receipts for assigned departments.
- Determine adequate inventory levels at entrance and exit of season to maximize profitability by store.
